Dane County deputies searching for man who escaped from Ferris Center

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who escaped from the Dane County Ferris Center on Friday.

According to the Sheriff's Office, Perion Carreon, 18, ran out an emergency exit at the Ferris Center on Rimrock Road around 6:25 p.m.

Carreon is currently serving a 30-day Huber sentence for operating a motor vehicle without consent, disorderly conduct and fleeing an officer.

Carreon is 6’2” tall, with black hair and brown eyes and weighs approximately 220 lbs.

Officials say he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants and brown Timberland boots.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to notify the Dane County Communication Center by dialing 911. There is a felony warrant for Carreon’s arrest.
