First case of coronavirus in Wisconsin confirmed

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has confirmed the state has its first case of coronavirus.

The person was tested and evaluated at UW Hospital, but never required a hospital stay, according to health officials.

DHS is monitoring workers who came in contact with the patient. The agency is not releasing any more details about the patient.

DHS has been investigating 10 people most recently, with seven of those patients testing negative.
