Charges filed in Janesville double homicide

Charges were filed today in Rock Court Circuit Court against Marcus Randle El in connection with the Feb 10 homicide of two women in Janesville.

Brittany N. McAdory, 27, and Seairaha J. Winchester, 30, were found shot about 3:15 a.m. on Midvale Drive on Janesville's northeast side. They later died at the hospital.

Randle-El was charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and two weapons charges.

Randle El was not yet in the Rock County Jail as of Friday afternoon, as he awaits extradition from Illinois.

Randle-El, 33, was taken into custody Feb. 15 after he turned himself into the Chicago Police Department.

He waived extradition Feb. 18 during a court hearing in Chicago.

After that, he was transferred to an Illinois Department of Corrections facility in Joliet because of a parole hold from a previous case.
