Homeowner shoots intruder in Juneau County

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- A homeowner shot a man trying to get into their home early Wednesday morning, according to the Juneau County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriffs officials say it happened just before 4:00 a.m. in Kingston Township.

Authorities say there is no danger to the public. No other information was provided by sheriffs officials, they say the incident remains under investigation.

The Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by Wisconsin State Patrol, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, and Cutler Fire Department.
