Resources for Madison businesses amid COVID-19 pandemic

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway said Wednesday that the city is continuing to work on ways to help businesses and employees who have been severely impacted by closures and reduced operations amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Rhodes-Conway said they are continuing to advocate at the state and federal levels in support of all workers, but particularly those affected by the crisis.

"We are also advocating in support of business, large and small, who are impacted by this pandemic," she said. "We are also partnering with the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce and other economic development organizations, on an ongoing basis to ensure up-to-date and comprehensive information and resources are communicated to members of our business community. "

The mayor also shared tips for all members of the community on how to support businesses. These include tipping well, buying gift cards, shop online, shop for friends and family, and get delivery or takeout.
