United Airlines suspends some nonstop flights out of Madison

United Airlines has announced it will suspend some nonstop flights out of the Dane County Regional Airport.

Due to a drop in travel demand because of the new coronavirus outbreak, United is reducing their daily flight schedule by 60%. Across the Atlantic, Pacifc and Latin America, United will operate approximately 45 daily flights in April.

Beginning April 1, the company is suspending nonstop routes from Madison (MSN) to Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO).

Nonstop services from Madison to Denver (DEN), Newark (EWR) and Chicago (ORD) will continue to operate normally.

For now, new nonstop service from Madison to Washington Dulles (IAD) will begin as scheduled in May.
