Wisconsin state Senator Jennifer Schilling won't seek re-election this fall.
Schilling says her two grown children are older now and her time home with them is running out. She is also looking to explore other opportunities.
Schilling has been teh Senate Democratic minority leader and is nearing the end of her third term. She won a recall election in 2011.
