One new COVID-19 related death in Dane County

UPDATE (WKOW) -- One more death connected to the COVID-19 outbreak has been reported since yesterday afternoon in Dane County, bringing the total to four.

As of Friday morning, PHMDC says 246 people have now been confirmed as having COVID-19.

The total number of negative tests has risen to 4,569.

The health department updates the numbers daily at 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services updates statewide numbers daily at 1:30 p.m.

As of Thursday afternoon, DHS is reporting 31 dead statewide, although the actual number changes throughout the day as individual counties report their own results.

There have been 1,730 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state. Negative tests were 20,317.
