UPDATE (WKOW) -- Green County Sheriff's officials said fog caused a truck carrying milk to crash early Wednesday morning.

The truck was going southbound on County Highway N near Monroe at about 4 a.m. The driver couldn't see because of foggy conditions so they attempted to pull over.

The driver lost control and went into a ditch, rolling and hitting a power pole.

Minor injuries were reported and the driver was taken to a nearby hospital.

Alliant Energy worked to restore power to an impacted home.

A Dense Fog Warning was in effect for Green County throughout the morning.
