Wisconsin health centers get $6 million to expand COVID-19 testing

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has awarded over $6 million to Wisconsin health centers to expand COVID-19 testing.

The Badger State's share came as part of $583 million distributed across the country and territories, according to a release sent Thursday. The money comes from the Paycheck Protection Program and Health Care Reimbursement Act.

HHS awarded the funds to 1,385 health centers. Sixteen of them call Wisconsin home. The full list and the amounts they received are in the table below.
