New online registration system for Alliant Energy Center testing site

MADISON (WKOW) -- Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) and the Wisconsin National Guard have implemented an online registration system designed to cut down on wait times at the Alliant Energy Center COVID-19 community testing site.

In an email Wednesday afternoon, PHMDC said the system dramatically improved wait times. Some people got through in less than 10 minutes.

Earlier this week, some people waited in line formore than four hoursto get a test.

PHMDC says people can register before heading to the site or they can register on-site.

More than 50,000 people have been tested at the Alliant Energy Center since the site opened.
