Madison police investigating two overnight shots fired incidents

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are investigating two shots fired incidents that happened just blocks apart.

Just after midnight, police responded to the 2300 block of Allied Drive for multiple reports of gunshots in the area of a large gathering.

Officers found shell casings as well as bullet holes in multiple buildings and a vehicle.

A few hours later, around 4 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Revival Ridge to check on some vehicles that were loitering in the area. Police said they witnessed a disturbance and heard gunshots before the vehicles drove off.

No injuries were reported in either incident.
