Police investigate burglary at Bed Bath and Beyond on Madison’s east side

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police in Madison are investigating a burglary at Bed Bath and Beyond on Madison's east side early Tuesday morning.

Police say officers responded to an alarm at the store on Lien Road around 4:45 a.m.

When they arrived, they found the front doors pried open. Inside the store, they found empty hangers, and it appeared merchandise had been stolen, according to police.

Police believe the burglar(s) likely ran out the back door. Police did not say whether any suspects have been identified or arrested.
