2 arrested in connection to attempted homicide on Madison's north side

MADISON (WKOW) — Two people are in police custody in relation to a shooting on Madison's north side onSeptember 30.

According to an updatedincident report, MPD spokesperson Stephanie Fryer said Cordell Corner, 21, and Cortez Talley, 28, are both facing pending charges of attempted first degree intentional homicide and first degree recklessly endangering safety. 

Corner was already in police custody when arrested in this case. Talley was taken into custody on October 1. Talley is also facing pending charges of felon in possession of a firearm. 

Both Corner and Talley are accused of shooting and injuring two people after an argument escalated.
