WATCH: Hall Of Famer Don Frye Punches 'Drunk' Fan At UFC 270

UFC Hall of Famer Don 'The Predator' Frye was spotted punching a fan who he said was drunk and challenged him to a fight in the stands at last weekend's UFC 270 event at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

TMZ Sports shared video footage of the incident, which shows the former MMA fighter and professional wrestler being approached by the man before an apparent verbal confrontation leads to Frye landing a jab on the man's head.

TMZ Sports said it spoke to Frye after the incident took place and the legendary fighter said the man -- who he believes was drunk -- bumped into his hat.

Frye said the two had a spirited conversation, which resulted in the fan challenging him to a fight.

The Arizona native is credited as one of UFC's pioneers responsible for the promotion's early success, defeating three men -- Thomas Ramirez, Sam Adkins and Gary Goodridge -- at UFC 8 tournament and two opponents -- Mark Hall and Brian Johnston -- to finish as the runner-up in the UFC 10 tournament, both in 1996.

Frye also defeated Amaury Bitetti via TKO (punches) at UFC 9.

Frye finished his MMA career with a 20-9-1 (1) overall record was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in 2016.

Frye also competed for other numerous MMA promotions including Pride Fighting Championships, as well as embarking on a professional wrestling career with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and others.
