Brewers beat Cubs 3-2, now one game back in NL Central

With a 3-2 win in Wrigley to open the three-game series between Milwaukee and Chicago, the Brewers have narrowed the deficit to one game behind the Cubs. The Brewers are two games back in the loss column.

Lorenzo Cain collected two hits and another former Royal, Mike Moustakas, added two hits and two runs to help the Brewers on offense. Wade Miley gave up two runs in five innings, and the Brewers' bullpen went four innings with only one hit and one walk and eight strikeouts. Six of the strikeouts came from Josh Hader, who pitched two innings.

There's two more games in the series at Wrigley, Tuesday and Wednesday.
