Moustakas hits two home runs, Brewers bash Pirates 11-5 Thursday

Milwaukee piled up 18 hits and 11 runs in a 11-5 win over Pittsburgh on Thursday night in the opening game of a four-game road series. Mike Moustakas went yard twice in the victory.

Moustakas and Yasmani Grandal each racked up four hits apiece, with Ben Gamel and Lorenzo Cain adding three hits each, as the Brewers pulled away in the ninth for the win.

Chase Anderson gave the Brewers five solid innings, allowing two runs. The blip in the bullpen was Corbin Burnes, who allowed three runs in two-thirds of an inning pitched.

The series continues Friday night in Pittsburgh. The Brewers are a half-game back of Chicago for first place in the NL Central.
