Brewers fall 5-1 in Cactus League play to White Sox Wednesday

Despite racking up eight hits, the Brewers couldn't scratch more than one run across in a 5-1 loss to the White Sox on Wednesday in Spring Training play.

Keston Hiura had a solo home run to provide all of the scoring in the game for Milwaukee. Lorenzo Cain added two hits in three at-bats.

On the pitching side, Brandon Woodruff allowed one unearned run and three hits in three innings of work, while Corbin Burnes tossed three innings, striking out four in his effort. Devin Williams gave up three runs in the seventh inning to give Chicago the lead for good.

Next up, the Brewers take on the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday at 2:05 p.m. CT.
