Lakers Beat Bucks Behind 44 Points From Anthony Davis

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 40 points for the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, but he wasn't the leading scorer in the game. Anthony Davis scored 44 points for the Los Angelos Lakers, leading them to a 133-129 win over Milwaukee.

It seemed like the teams scored every trip down the floor at Fiserv Forum. Both teams shot over 50% from the field and over 39% from three-point range.

The Lakers scored 66 points in the first half, which was the most the Bucks had given up during a half this season. The Bucks cut the deficit throughout the second half, but Jrue Holiday and Grayson Allen missed three-pointers in the final seconds to seal the Lakers win.

In his season debut, Khris Middleton scored 17 points in 27 minutes.

The Bucks fell to 15-6 and the Lakers improved to 10-12.

Milwaukee will play in Charlotte on Saturday night at 5:00pm. The Bucks will play four of their next five games on the road.
