UPDATE (WKOW) — Officials with the Dane County Regional Airport say any delays caused by the power outage earlier this morning should be completely resolved by noon today.
Officials with the airport and MGE say the power outage was caused by a failure of an electrical delivery component within the airport.
They are investigating to see if it was related to the cold and should have more information later this afternoon.
About 15 flights were delayed, however the airport was still able to accept arrivals, so those weren’t affected.
Some hub connections are being adjusted to accommodate the delayed flights.
