MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District board voted unanimously Monday night in favor of approving the timeline for a return to in-person instruction for all grade levels.
That means the middle school will return to in-person on February 22 and the high school on March 11. Students will work under a universal 2-1-2 blended instruction model. It's the same plan the 4K-4th grade has been working under since it returned to in-person last Monday, February 1. Grades 5-12 will follow their normal daily class schedules. All students will report to their homeroom or first hour classroom. Students will eat lunch in classrooms or designated areas.
Group 1 will have in-person instruction on Monday, Tuesday, with virtual instruction for the remainder of the week. Group 2 will have in-person instruction on Thursday, Friday, with virtual instruction for the remaining three days of the school week. 4K is working under a half day model, split into A.M. and P.M. groups.
Families will still have the opportunity to enroll their students in an all-virtual instruction model.
