DANE COUNTY (WKOW) -- A round of snow overnight has created slick conditions for the Friday morning commute.
As of 3 a.m., the Wisconsin Department of Transportation has listed main roads around Madison as "Travel Not Advised" and "Ice Covered."
The Madison Streets Division warned drivers that frigid temperatures would make roads more slippery than usual.
Officials said trucks will be out removing snow, but the temperatures are too cold to apply salt.
Authorities recommend taking your time as you head out the door to work or school Friday morning.
