Planned Beltline Flex Lane in Middleton and Madison.
MADISON (WKOW) -- If you travel the Beltline at night, you can expect closures starting Monday. Crews will be working to add the "Flex Lane" -- which will be an additional travel during morning and evening commutes. The inside median shoulders from east of Whitney Way to the I-39/90 interchange will be converted to an extra lane. It's expected to be completed by December.
The nightly lane closures will occur from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Various interchange ramps with these limits will also be closed nightly from 6:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.; closures will be announced via message boards on the ramps. The lane closures will begin on the Beltline between Stoughton Road and Todd Drive.
