MADISON (WKOW) -- The Sun Prairie Police Department is seeking a person of interest in a February homicide investigation.

Authorities are looking to speak to Anthony Young, a 33-year-old Black man who stands at 6 feet 4 inches tall. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to the Sun Prairie PD non-emergency line at (608) 837-7336.

Lt. Ryan Cox told 27 News that Young is considered "a person of interest" in the investigation.

A press release from Sun Prairie police said authorities want to speak to Young in regards to a Feb. 23 case where a man died after being dropped off at Madison's UW Health Union Corners Clinic with a gunshot wound.

Madison police initially handled the case before passing it on to Sun Prairie police because it is believed that the man was shot in that community.

Cox said investigators are still trying to determine the location of the shooting.
