ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A 16-year-old girl from Orfordville was killed in a crash in Rock County.
Deputies were called to the scene Thursday afternoon.
They say a car was driving southbound on County Trunk K near Fossum Rd., when the 17-year-old driver failed to properly negotiate the curve.
The car hit the ditch, flipped multiple times and the female passenger was thrown from the vehicle.
Authorities say she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver from Beloit was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation
