UPDATE (WKOW) -- Emery Foust has been found safe, according to an alert sent by Iowa County Emergency Management.
The teenager was found around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
Dodgeville police chief David Bauer tells 27 News Foust was found at the home of someone he knows on the west side of the city. Bauer says he does not believe that person knew the teenager was there.
Iowa County Emergency Management director Keith Hurlbert says authorities were already talking about what they'd do if the search were to continue on Friday.
"We were already making those plans and getting ready to determine what resources would be needed in the morning to continue the search, so we're very happy that we don't have to take those steps," he told 27 News.
