Madison Residents Asked To Conserve Water

(Madison, WI) -- Madison residents are being urged to conserve water. The water utility says the drought conditions along with a number of wells out of service is straining the water supply. Residents are asked to only use an inch of water for established lawns, avoid watering during the midday heat, consider using a timer on your sprinkler and capture water from downspouts to conserve the use of the municipal water supply.
