Wisconsin Judge Hands Rittenhouse Defense A Victory

(Kenosha Co., WI) -- A Wisconsin judge is giving Kyle Rittenhouse a small win. Rittenhouse is accused of killing two men and wounding another at a protest following the shooting of Jacob Blake by a Kenosha Police officer last summer. The prosecution wanted to argue that Rittenhouse was affiliated with white nationalist groups and believed in the violent tactics of the Proud Boys. But a Kenosha County Circuit judge said he didn't see evidence that Rittenhouse knew members of the Proud Boys, but he will keep the door open if a connection can be shown.
