MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police continue to search for an 18-year-old Madison man with an active arrest warrant related to a Labor Day homicide. Now, officials havereleased photos of him.
According to police, Jeremiah Cain is considered armed and dangerous. Police issued anarrest warrant with charges filed of first degree intentional homicide for Cain on September 29 in relation to the the death of Nicholas T. Cooke.
Authorities found Cooke in a crashed car on Acewood Boulevard after police responded to 4600 block of Martha Lane around 6:45 p.m. for a report of shots fired. He later died at a local hospital.
Anyone with information on Cain's whereabouts is asked to contact the MPD at 608-255-2345. Police say Cain may still be in the Madison area, but also has ties to Chicago.
