MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Metropolitan School Board approved the budget for the 2021-2022 school year.
The spending plan is about $538 million. The tax levy is going to increase almost 2%. The average homeowner in Madison will see an increase of about $312 on their tax bill.
The board voted to end the use of out-of-school suspensions in 4K through 5th grade.
Members also voted to ban the use of hidden security cameras.
