KENOSHA (WKOW) — The third day of Kyle Rittenhouse's homicide trial began Thursday with a motion hearing to dismiss one of the 20 jurors.
The motion, which was from the prosecution, concerned a juror allegedly making a joke over the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
According to Hillary Mintz, a reporter from WKOW's ABC News affiliate WISN, the punchline of the joke referred to "police shot Blake 7 times because they ran out of bullets..."
Online court records show the juror was questioned "out of the presence" of other jurors and was dismissed.
After excusing the juror, testimony continued. You can watch the trial live on theWKOW 27 News Facebook page.
