MADISON (WKOW) — A curious cat is back on the ground, thanks to help from the Madison Fire Department.
The Engine 10 crew came to assist Public Health Madison Dane County's Animal Service Office Monday to rescue a brave cat that climbed a tree over the weekend, but never made it back down.
Firefighters brought out their tall ladders to get ahold of the kitty, then returned the unharmed pet to a relieved owner.
