SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) -- A dive team went into a Sun Prairie retaining pond Friday afternoon after two kids fell through the ice, according to the Sun Prairie Police Department.
Chief Michael Steffes said emergency services got the call around 3:20 p.m.
The two kids were removed from the pond "pretty quickly" after they fell in, according to a Sun Prairie Police Department official. The children were then taken to a local hospital.
No information has been released on their current condition.
Two divers were seen taking turns going into the pond, one taking a break while the other goes in.
Emergency crews remained on scene until around 5:30 p.m.
