MADISON (WKOW) -- The Madison Police Department is investigating after an assault left a woman unresponsive and in serious condition.
Spokesperson Stephanie Fryer said the 47-year-old woman was assaulted around 3 a.m. on Dec. 31, 2023, in her Thorp Street home.
The victim was dropped off at the hospital.
Fryer said the woman has been unresponsive and in serious condition since the attack.
No arrests have been made for the battery.
