MADISON (WKOW) — The man suspected of a deadly hit-and-run on the Beltline surrendered himself to Madison police.
According to a news release, Jules Tougna Tamen, 59, turned himself in around 10:00 p.m. Friday.
Madison Police Sgt. Timothy Liston said Tougna Tamen was subsequently booked in the Dane County Jail.
He was wanted in connection to a deadly incident on January 26 where police said Jaitaja Graham, 23, of Madison was hit walking on the eastbound Beltline near Fish Hatchery Road.
Court records show Tougna Tamen has already been formally charged with hit-and-run involving death. A court date had not been set at the time of publication.
