TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WKOW) -- Two Rivers Police Chief Ben Meinnert says his agency identified and is in possession of a "vehicle of interest" as police continue their search for missing three-year-old Elijah Vue.
In a Facebook post, Meinnert says the vehicle is a 1997 four-door beige Nissan Altima. In the post, Meinnert did not describe why the vehicle was identified as being of interest to the investigation.
The chief said the police department would be expanding its rural search efforts Tuesday with large-scale coordinated operations with help from law enforcement from across the state. Meinnert says authorities are asking for help from community members.
Elijah Vue was last seen February 20th. Law enforcement agencies, Vue's relatives and community members have been searching Two Rivers and other parts of Manitowoc County since then, but they have not yet found the three-year-old.
