MADISON (WKOW) -- Several people have been arrested after a shooting on the east side, according to Madison police officers.
It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday morning.
Officers responded to multiple calls of shots fired near the 6800 block of Milwaukee St. Madison police say they found numerous casings at the scene.
At the time, no victims came forward and there were no damages to buildings but there was glass on the ground indicating vehicle damage.
According to Madison police, officers located a vehicle nearby at a gas station that had damage to the window and a firearm was recovered.
Madison Police officers detained several individuals connected to the vehicle who indicated they were present at the scene of the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
