MADISON (WKOW) - A man was injured when a pickup truck hit a farm tractor Friday on CTH K west of US Highway 12 in the Town of Springfield.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office says the truck was traveling east on K and as it went over a hill, it hit the tractor that was also traveling east on K.
The 70-year-old man driving the tractor was taken to the hospital.
The extent of his injuries are not known at this time.
Authorities say the driver of the pickup truck, a 32-year-old man from Waunakee, was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
He was issued citations for Failure to Maintain Control and for Following Too Closely.
CTH K was closed for several hours while the crash reconstruction experts, crime scene investigator and drone operator completed the investigation.
