JUNEAU, Wis. (WKOW) — A 43-year-old man is charged with killing a Beaver Dam woman who was reported missing in 2025.
The Dodge County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of Aaron Nelson, 43, in connection with the disappearance of Alexis Nelson. Her family last contacted her in May 2025.
Nelson is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse. He is being held in the Dodge County Jail.
Sheriff Dale J. Schmidt said the investigation has been difficult for Alexis Nelson's family and the community. Because the case is now in court, law enforcement will not release further details at this time.
Aaron Nelson's initial appearance is scheduled for today, May 18.
