Packers outlast Saints 37-30 on Sunday Night Football

Offense has been the key for the Packers during their 3-0 start, but the defense saved the day in Green Bay's latest victory.

Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees battled in a throwback quarterback duel on Sunday Night Football, throwing three touchdowns each as the Green Bay Packers held on to win over the New Orleans Saints 37-30.

Rodgers led the Packers' offense to 369 total yards on the evening, throwing touchdowns to Allen Lazard, Robert Tonyan, and Marcedes Lewis with top target Davante Adams sidelined with a hamstring injury. Lazard filled in well, hauling in six catches on eight targets for 146 yards and a five-yard score.

Mason Crosby went three-for-three on field goals, including a 52-yarder.

Green Bay's defense came up with big stops in the fourth quarter, including a forced fumble of former Packers quarterback Taysom Hill, to seal the win.

Next up, the Packers take on the reeling Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
