5:05 PM ET – Geraldo Rivera, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of The Geraldo Show and Salena Zito, author of The Great Revolt: Inside the Populist Coalition Reshaping American Politics, debate the comments made Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick today who has said that people like Geraldo Rivera should be held accountable for supporting illegal immigrants, following the harrowing death of Molly Tibbetts.
Patrick gave an interview on America’s Newsroom earlier today, where he went on a full-throttle rant about how Democrats, congressional Republicans and the “mainstream media” have blood on their hands because they refuse to talk about or take action over illegal immigration. The Texas lieutenant governor anchored his talking points around the fact that an undocumented immigrant is currently being charged as the prime suspect in the Tibbetts murder case. Since Patrick included Rivera in his list of people complicit in crimes committed by illegal aliens, Rivera is hitting back — condemning the politicalization of Tibbetts’ death.
