A late flurry of Minnesota baskets off of Wisconsin turnovers sunk the Badgers at the Kohl Center on Thursday night. Wisconsin has now lost two in a row.

After drawing a 49-43 deficit to within two points at 49-47, the Badgers promptly had three straight turnovers leading to three straight Gophers baskets, essentially sealing the game for Minnesota. The Gophers have won now just twice at the Kohl Center since it opened in 1999.

Ethan Happ led the way for the Badgers with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Nathan Reuvers added 12 points. Amir Coffey had 21 points for the Gophers, with Dupree McBrayer adding 14.

Wisconsin plays at Penn State on Sunday in their next outing.

Wisconsin plays at Minnesota on February 6.
