Wisconsin wins Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal over Nebraska 66-62

D'Mitrik Trice hit a big shot late to help Wisconsin fend off upset-minded Nebraska in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals on Friday afternoon in Chicago, 66-62.

Khalil Iverson and Nate Reuvers led the way with 14 points each. Brad Davison and Aleem Ford each notched 11 points, while Trice finished with eight.

The Badgers advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament for the 12th time in tournament history, including 6 of the last 8. Wisconsin is now 14-8 in opening games of the BTT. The Badgers have also won at least 23 games for the 13th time in school history and the 2nd time under head coach Greg Gard. All 13 seasons of 23+ wins have come since 2003. Over the last 6 seasons (since 2013-14), the Badgers are 30-9 (.769) in the month of March.
