Speed and drugs are believed to be contributing factors in a fatal crash late Thursday night in the Dane County Town of Burke. A 60 year old Wisconsin Dells man was killed. The Dane County Sheriff's Department says he was turning off of Highway C-V, onto northbound Highway 51 when he was struck by another vehicle just after 11 p.m. That driver, an 18 year old Madison man, is jailed on a tentative charge of negligent homicide.
