A man was arrested early Sunday for driving his car on the paved bike path along Highway 12 in Dane County.
The Dane County Sheriff's Office reports that a deputy spotted the car traveling southbound on the paved bike path near the intersection of Highway P at around 3 a.m. He made a traffic stop and arrested the driver, a 29-year-old man from Waunakee. The driver admitted he had been drinking. He was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense.
No one was hurt.
