Fallen officer to be laid to rest in Wausau area shooting rampage

WESTON (WKOW) -- Visitation will continue Wednesday for Jason Weiland, the Everest Metro Police detective killed in the line of duty in last week's shooting rampage.  A funeral and graveside ceremony will follow. 

DC Everest Senior High School will host the visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The funeral service begins at noon with graveside ceremonies scheduled for immediately after in the parking lot.  Procession and burial services will not be public.

A luncheon will follow the graveside ceremonies at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, across the street from DC Everest Senior High School.
