The Copps grocery store on South Whitney Way in Madison will close permanently next month.
A spokesman for the store's parent company, Roundy's, said they made the decision based on consumer demand and the store's financials.
Most of the store's 76 employees have been offered and taken jobs at other stores owned by the Milwaukee based company in the area.
