UPDATE (WKOW) -- A man authorities said is primed for an attack is still on the loose.

Joseph Jakubowski is at the center of a massive manhunt. He is accused of stealing guns from a gun shop in Janesville and threatening to use them against public officials or a school.

Along with those guns, authorities said he also has a bulletproof vest and a helmet.

As police continue to follow up on dozens of leads, one of those tips led them to a home in Janesville Friday. They went to a house in the 400 block of Eisenhower Avenue just a couple blocks from Jakubowski's home on Glen Street.

Friday afternoon, members of the Rock County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team converged on the house searching for Jakubowski.

“They took the door off the blue house back there and went in. I guess there were like 12 or 15 of them that went in, guns drawn,” said Rasheena Suski, who lives near the house.

According to the Rock County Sheriff's Office, someone had discovered a broken window at the house. The SWAT Team was called and they moved in thinking the suspect might be inside.

Suski said people in the neighborhood are surprised something like this would happen, especially to someone they know.

“They are all shocked that Janesville got this bad and wondering how they could live in this neighborhood their entire life and then all of a sudden something this bad happening in their neighborhood,” Suski said.

Suski said she is concerned about the children in the neighborhood with the suspect still on the loose.

Officials at the Rock County Sheriff's Office said they will continue following leads until Jakubowski is caught.
