Gov. Scott Walker is set to sign two bills into law Monday.
One of the bills would legalize possession of a marijuana extract used to treat seizures. The governor has scheduled a signing ceremony for this bill in Burlington.
The state Legislature this year approved a bill to make cannabidiol legal with a doctor's certification.
The oil doesn't produce a high. Parents of children who suffer seizures say it can ease symptoms.
Walker said earlier he supported a narrowly crafted measure on medical marijuana.
The other bill blocks local governments from requiring collective bargaining agreements on public projects. The governor will sign the bill at AmeriLux International, a De Pere manufacturer of building materials.
The state Legislature, which is controlled by Republicans, easily passed the legislation this session despite opposition from Democrats, who called it another attack on unions. Supporters of the bill say it gives non-union firms a better chance to bid on public projects, and gives local governments more options.
