UPDATE (WKOW) -- Police are looking at surveillance footage that captured an armed robbery attempt at a pizza store on Madison's east side.
The video shows two men dressed in black entering Rosati's Pizza on Commercial Avenue Saturday night, one man is seen holding an assault style rifle and demanding money. Both men got away but didn't get any money. No one was hurt.
The robbery attempt is the second time Rosati's Pizza has been held up at gunpoint in less than a week.
"Now he's done the job of installing fear in the people here," said store manager Richard Fitzgerald, who was the only one inside the store when it was robbed last Tuesday.
Fitzgerald was not inside the store for the second robbery attempt, but six of his employees were.
"They all witnessed [the armed robbery], and I'm sure they're scared," said Fitzgerald, who increased the number of employees working at night as a result of the first robbery.
No image of the robber was captured during the first robbery, since neither surveillance cameras were working at the time.
Since they've been fixed, Fitzgerald hopes the footage will bring the two robbers to justice quickly.
"I hope he gets caught quickly, and let us go back to being normal without the fear," he said.
Fitzgerald says the store will continue to increase its security measures following the second robbery attempt.
If you have any information about either of them, you're asked to call Madison Police or Madison Area Crime Stoppers at (608) 266-6014.
